We went on the afternoon excursion with Whale Samaná early March, leaving from Cayo Levantado and we had the most wonderful experience! Eva was our narrator and she did a great job filling in the time spent on waiting for the whales to give us information on the them, their habits, history, etc. This experience seems to come down to a mix of knowledge and luck and we had both on our side that day! we saw plenty of whales!! And I still felt like the crew was following the sanctuary rules in order to minimize stress on the whales, while giving their guests a good experience! They took great care of all guests, very friendly and safe, could not recommend more!

The trip is well organised, the organisers are very nice. Narration in many languages - I recommend!! It is worth bringing your headgear with you, because the sun is shining brightly. We saw a lot of humpbacks and dolphins. Everyone speaks English (including French, Czech and German).

This was our third trip and by far the best one yet. We had 2 males whales and a female. The males were breaching over and over again to get the attention of the female. We probably saw over 20 breaches. It was an amazing trip.

REALLY professional people, they take care of the people on the safari in a really nice way, they try to leave as little damage to the eco system as they possibly can, both by collecting garbage to be recycled, to use glass bottles to be reused, and to make as little noice polution as they can so that they don't disturb the whales. We saw some of the other companies, and they acted like vultures just as soon as they saw something that looked like a whale, with no regards to other or the nature, very sad Our tour guides was totally different and I would recommend them at any time 🐋🐳😉

Great experience - definitely should be on everyone’s bucket list. Everything was run smoothly, from initial booking to communications to boarding to commentary on board. Great to see a mother & calf right away, and frequently after that. Sea was quite rough that day but took good care of everything.
