I too hadn't read the reviews of this place. The attendants have to enter the pesos into a separate machine and added an additional zero, either accidentally or intentionally. So for our car, a Kia Sonnet, to fill up they charged us $253.78, not $25.38, which would mean we would have had to have a tank size of about 50 gallons. Not possible! Get and review your receipt at this place! Inside the store was clean and associates were helpful.
Liars and scammers! Why would Runners even make it a stop for tourists? Easy meat? Told us 350 pesos for purchase. We asked for receipt, she was surprised. Found out, she doubled the items we got but still it was 330 pesos. Keep the receipt in case this happens to you. Check the change and what was changed right away
TOURISTS STAY AWAY!!! Got ripped off by this place when renting a car in Punta Cana. Charged me $150 US dollars for full tank, should have been less than $50 at 270 Dominican dollars per liter. Attendant refused to give me receipt. Already disputed charge on credit card but buyers beware!
Sadly I didn't read the comments before coming to this place to fill up a rental car. If you really NEED stop at this place, pay extra attention that they are actually filling up the tank. My bill went up, but the tank was at the same level. I noticed it too late, because I was already returning the car. PLEASE STAY AWAY!
Scammers. Wish I had read the reviews and be more careful. Attendant distracted us with a conversation and quickly reset the display panel on the gas dispenser. Charged us more than double. We successfully disputed the charge with our credit card company and got $50 back.
