I really liked this hotel. It has a nice, natural style and a unique atmosphere. It’s located on a hill with direct access to a quiet beach and a beautiful view. The host, David, is very kind and helpful. We felt well taken care of, but without any pressure. On my first day, I lost my bag, and when I told David, he quickly helped organize a search. In the end, I found it myself on the beach where I had left it the evening before, but the staff’s reaction was great.

We rate this resorts as 10! This resorts was fantastic. Even though we booked for only two nights we had so much fun. My son really enjoyed the pool and the beach. He doesn't want to leave the place. What we like the most is the location and the amenities. This is a huge place to celebrate for any occasions like wedding, birthday, family reunion, or christening. David, the owner was very nice person. He is very accommodating for any needs at any time. We are so impressed with him. He really take care of his customer. We even have our dinner together. We never experience to have a dinner with the owner. We had an amazing conversation with each other. We even planned to go back by next year April for family reunion. This place was very cleaned, very organized. Very big place to enjoy every moment of your day while you are staying with this beautiful place. Susana cooked us La Paella with seafoods and it was very tasty and delicious. We highly recommend this resorts. David, the owner was amazing and Susana was excellent cook. This is one of the coolest and most beautiful places we've ever stayed at!!! The views from the multi-level terraces look like something out of a story book. During certain times of the day, the views don't seem real and words can't describe their beauty. The cave that we stayed in was truly a "one of a kind" experience. We're so glad that we chose that over a regular room. Beyond the room and the hotel, David is the best host we've ever had an experience with!! He built the hotel himself and his passion for the area, the property, and providing his guests a world-class experience is evident. He has an incredible story to tell and brought an extraordinary vision to life. We highly-recommend staying at Sunset Samana!! We can't wait to return!!

This hostel was incredible. Our 2 nights stay began with free beers and corn offered by David, the host, while our rooms were being cleaned. The view was undoubtedly one of the best I’ve seen in my entire life and the rooms were beautiful. Hot water isn’t a common thing in Las Galeras but you sure access it at Sunset Samana. Would go back anytime.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The owner, David, is a wonderful person with his heart in the right place. He is incredibly kind, always ready to help with anything, and you can tell that he truly enjoys running this place. Mrs. Susanita, who prepares the breakfasts here, is also wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel and hope we will be able to come back here again someday. 😊
