We booked the Saona Island VIP 4 Beaches tour and had the most incredible day ever! We went by speedboat, were taken to a natural pool where we saw starfish and were lucky enough to encounter manta rays, then went to a protected area where we saw many turtles, and in Mano Juan they took us to the turtle sanctuary where they showed us the wonderful work Negro does rescuing them. Finally, to finish the tour, they took us to a paradise beach. Not only were they incredibly friendly, but they also demonstrated environmental awareness, something that's hard to find on tours there. We have nothing but words of gratitude. They far exceeded our expectations 😊
Thank you so much! Excellent service and excursion!! We had an awesome time!!!
My Mom, Sister and I did the Dolphin excursion and it was fantastic
I had been apart of several punta cana fb groups looking for things to do in Punta Cana. I got the name of this company. I was really interested in seeing isla saona. I contacted this company via what's up app. I did all my communicating with the app. I did not want a party boat, I wanted a small group. There was a 30$ deposit in which I paid via PayPal, the rest was due sometime during the tour. I was coming from Punta Cana and was driving with a friend. I did not want to ride 1.5 hrs on a bus full of people. The person I communicated with gave me specific instructions on where to meet, what time, etc. I got into Bayahibe and went to the meeting spot (saona cafe').I texted I was there and soon there was Stanley meeting us. He took us to the tour group. There were so many boats and people, I thought for sure it would be a cluster. This company was well organized. We were off within 30 min after meeting..we were all split up per language, so there was a speed boat with Spanish speaking people, a boat w English speaking people, etc.our group consisted of 10 people.but the boat could fit 12-14. We made 4 stops.Stanley was very informative about the area and wildlife. Our 1st stot was Flamanco beach- we stayed here for about 1 hr. We took pictures( there were couple of guides going around taking pictures). We had a small snack of fruit skewer, 1 empanada, and another fried item with cheese.choice of soda or h2o. It was good. We played in the sun and enjoyed the perfect weather. The water was amazingly blue. Our 2nd stop was in Mano Juana, the only village on isla saona. We took a walk through the village and of course there were vendors that wanted you to buy stuff, this was a fishing village that made its income off tourism and fishing. I did not feel harrassed to buy anything . We took a walk to the turtle sanctuary which was 1 little shack, no turtles, but the story is interesting. there is this 1 guy that follows 3 different species of turtles around the island picking their eggs up protecting them from tourist stepping on them. Here they wanted you to buy real coconut oil and some jelewrys to help.support the sanctuary. We did have lunch here ( Mano Juana)as well. It was a buffet under a shaded area.consisted of chicken, white rice, Mexican ricespaghetti, small salad and soda or h20. We were here for about 1.5hours. We then went to our last beach.this was my favorite beach.the water was crystal clear, palm trees were beautiful. This is where they offerend rum.they almost ran out of water so I would definitely suggest bringing extra h2o. We spent about 1 hr here too. On our way back to Bayahibe, we stopped to see this mangrove area and we saw 3 sea turtles and acouple of stingrays. We did not get out here.we then went to the natural swimming pool.they called it this because it's super shallow.this is where the starfish are.we did see 1.iys sad because Stanley had told us this area had so many starfish at 1 time but people did not abide by rules and would take the starfish out of the water for too long and they would die 😞.I thoroughly enjoyed our time..I thought this tour was organized and managed well.
