We had a great stay at Mahona! Rooms are very comfortable, decorated beautifully and well maintained. The staff are so nice and hospitable and the breakfast is amazing!! Highly recommended if you are staying in Las Terrenas and want a quiet place to stay!

We stayed here for two nights earlier this month. This B&B is so charming! Our two-bedroom villa was gorgeous, super clean, had comfortable bedding, and was beautifully decorated. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. Friendly staff. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

I am taking the time to write this in depth review for the sole face that this place was absolutely exceptional in every way. I’ve traveled all over the Dominican Republic, but I can honestly say this was the most warm and welcoming stay I’ve ever had in Las Terrenas and probably all of DR. Pierre and his wife are truly special people, and you can feel the love and care they pour into every single detail of your stay. The ladies and gentlemen who care for the property are just as wonderful, always smiling, always kind, and treating you with genuine warmth that makes you feel like family. One of the absolute highlights is the breakfast. It’s not just “amazing” it’s truly thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and abundant. The bread is warm, the pastries are light and flaky, the fruits are perfectly ripe, and the fresh juices taste like they were made just seconds before they hit your table. It’s the kind of breakfast that doesn’t just start your day; it carries you through it. You feel so satisfied and nourished that you don’t even think about eating again until evening.. literally It’s those little details, the care in how things are prepared, the presentation, and the freshness, that make the mornings here feel effortless, special, and unforgettable. Another thing I really appreciated was how safe I felt. The whole place is well secured, with cameras covering all the important areas, so you can just relax and enjoy your stay without a worry. I had some really great conversations with Pierre and members of the team. Everyone here goes out of their way to make sure you feel completely at home, and that kind of hospitality is rare. We just got here, but I’m very impressed. I got all the relevant information in advance from the staff, and when I got there the staff were so nice and welcoming. After a long and not easy trip, they made me feel at home.

Loved the stay, very close to the beach with great bars and restaurants! Close knit vibe to the b&b with a delicious breakfast and chilled pool area.
