While on vacation my husband and I found a cat that was clearly in need of medical attention, as we throught he might be blind, so we captured him, took him to this vet, and got him vaccinated, paid for neutered, a temporary medical attention. His name is Juan Gatto. Amazing place to take your pet! Exceptional service, communication, and Amazing friendly staff. Thank you to all the staff that helped us on this journey. You are all amazing! Much love Mr and Mrs Morales
I’ve used the services of Hospetality several times and on each occasion it’s been unsettling. The staff never really are very helpful I feel like a nuisance instead of a customer who’s trying to give business. My last encounter was for boarding. At the check in process one of the ladies was really helpful and the other the exact opposite. The only service I was happy with was some photos they sent of my dog which I greatly appreciated. However upon pickup, I again experienced very unfriendly service by another staff member who had to keep calling repeatedly in the back to bring out my dog, even if we had arranged a pick up time. I had prepaid for a bath and grooming, and messaged them again in the morning reminding them to please trim his nails. He was only given a bath. They returned him only with his bed and when I inquired about the remainder of his food I’d brought (which was half a bag), they said that he’d finished it. I have a pug which eats less than the avg dog, and I said it’s impossible that he ate a half bag in 3 nights/4 days, however if you claim he ate all then I’m glad and it’s okay. On the way out I stopped to walk him and another staff member ran out with the bag of food almost still half full, which means he’d barely been fed. To make matters worse, on the way home I noticed my dog wasn’t acting himself and then realised he had an eye infection. I communicated this to them where they would read my messages and not respond. By that time I went to his usual vet who checked out his eye and we found not only was it infected but he’d somehow gotten a hit to the eye. I am awaiting a response from Hospetality as to how they are going to compensate for such an experience and lack of follow up, communication and care, after having trusted them with my pet.
We took our cat and they charged more than 500 dollars for 2 nights We understand the cat was sick but they placed her by a huge dog for 2 nights They should know the psychology and sensitiveness that a sick cat cannot be left in a trauma situation for 48 hrs At least they should know this... A sick cat surrounded from huge dogs barking! For 48 hrs! We took her away They wanted US to take the cat to Santo Domingo to a cardiologist To find out the origin of the sickness And then offered option to eliminate her With death..... The trauma can be worse for a cat than its sickness We took her away They wrote on a piece of paper IT was dangerous for her health to take her away from the clinic!!! But we did and saved her life!
*REVIEW UPDATE* I am pleased to say that Hospetality seems to have taken all the negative feedback seriously and has vastly improved their services. My dog has stayed there several times recently again after a while and I have been receiving videos and photos of my dog, and daily updates of when he ate, how much and if he ate at all. He also came back with no issues at all. It seems as though they are finally giving peoper attention and care to our furry family members. Hence the updated review. 👍 I hope you all keep the service this way. *OLD REVIEW* "Hospetality" doesn't prioritize the well-being of its furry guests. It is concerning that after two weeks in their care, my dog came back with a series of health problems, including an eye infection, red nose with bumps of allergies, and noticeable weight loss. These are clear signs of neglect and improper care, which is unacceptable in any pet care facility. This is also not the first time my pet is wounded after his stay. Another time he came back with a hole from a bite of another dog on his throat, and he was even bit once while we were in the waiting room due to the workers unable to control other dogs properly. We had to pay for all the treatment expenses due to THEIR NEGLIGENCE. Photos attached of his infected eyes and previous throat bite. When I confronted the employees, they said they have no comments or any idea how any of this happened, and tried to make me take my dog to their vet (naturally so they can charge me again to treat my dog for something caused by them). In addition to the physical issues, it's also concerning that my dog appeared to be in a down mood when I returned to pick him up. This could indicate that he was not getting enough attention or stimulation during his stay, further highlighting the lack of attention to detail and overall quality of service. Overall, I would not recommend "Hospetality" hotel for dogs to anyone seeking quality pet care. It's clear that the facility does not prioritize the well-being of its guests and can put your pet's health and happiness at risk. Save yourself the trouble and AVOID this place.
I've always had a great experience with the veterinary. A kind, caring and very professional young lady. With the exception of one incident in which our dog was accidentally injured during a bath session (and properly looked after for the days that followed) our expectations have always been met as far as the services provided to our dog are concerned. I find it fair to correct a previous comment that I made regarding the customer service team. After further interactions with them I have realized that they are as caring and committed. Thumbs up for them as well!
