Can't go wrong with this place. Rooms are slightly outdated but why would you come to Dominican and stay inside and not enjoy the best beach on earth. My in-laws had a broken air conditioner and they moved them to another room. Great customer service. Food was excellent and staff were happy to assist with making our vacation a memorable one.
The resort is a 30 minute drive from the airport. The staff are all very friendly, attentive and the service is great. The coffee shop is my daily go to spot. Great espresso. The buffet has a many options to pick from so if you’re the type of person that likes a little bit of everything I strongly recommend the buffet. There are also gluten free options. The only reason I give the rooms 4 stars is because if you’re showering at peak times you may only get warm water rather than hot.
The hotel is good but the service is slow in all the buffets and restaurants but we understand that more staff is needed. The management should think about it. Although it is nice in theory that you get unlimtited towels during the stay, guests abuse this privilage and leave towels unattened in the afternoon on loungers and there is no opportunity for other people to take free loungers. Also it would be better visually to not have dirbt towels bunched up on the floors at the pool and on tables in the beach . But otherwise a beautiful hotel and very friendly helpful staff.
Maritza has been on top of everything! Amazing butler. Food has been wonderful. Drivers- Juan Carlos, Luis, Eduardo, ovandy, Cordero- all wonderful!! So helpful. Food/testaurants- Biki, Yomeri, Brayan, Nanfy- all exceptional. Always great to see Gabriela the e-butler. Anything you need she is there. Beach staff is amazing especially Kimbel. Great experience yet again!
Jose Miguel was an outstanding beach waiter who consistently delivered exceptional service. He was friendly, attentive, and worked quickly while maintaining a positive attitude, even during busy times. When our group asked about drinks, he always offered excellent suggestions, and together with the bar team, Amina and Gleyvin, was able to make just about anything we requested, and the drinks were always great. His warm personality, excellent customer service, and clear pride in his work truly stood out. He would be a real asset to any work team. Highly recommended
