Good location and good price. It’s only 4 mins walking from the beach. The hosts are nice and the place is very clean. Yes, it’s more quiet and has more rules compared to backpacker hostels, but it’s good if you don’t like noisy and messy hostels.

GAVA is amazing!! I went by myself and brought my husband back a year later. It is affordable and they are extremely accommodating. When other arrangements fell through they allowed us to come on short notice as well as another guest. It is a small quieter hostel (which I loved). We were able to cook, and we made a family dinner for everyone and enjoyed chatting with folks we just met. If you are looking to party or have a luxurious vacay this is not the spot, but if you want to meet great people from all around and relax on the beach and get some good sleep, it’s great. It’s also great for individuals solo-traveling.

I had one of the best experiences during my stay at Hostel Gava in Punta Cana. The place was clean, calm, and respectful, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. A special thanks to Andrey & Valentina, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend Hostel Gava and will definitely return for my next vacation!

GAVA Hostel is an excellent stay for solo travelers in Punta Cana 🎒 It is located right at the beach and in walking distance to the supermarket and restaurants. Since the hostel is in Andrey and Valentina's home, some rules make it a very cozy and clean space. Both hosts are lovely and will help you book tours, find the bus station, or answer any other questions. I immediately felt at home and would stay again :)

One of the best hostels I’ve ever been to. Cozy, comfortable and welcoming. Maximum of 4 people so feels like a family and quiet! Perfect location, everything within 5min walk (beach, cafes, bars, shops) and taxis everywhere Clean, spacious living space with access to drying rack, 2 toilets, fridge, toaster, comfortable sofas. And the best bit of course, the lovely owners of Andrey/Valentina. Helpful, kind hearted, open and warm people that make your stay feel special and comfortable! Excursions can pick you up right outside the main gate of the hostel, and you get all the information from GAVA, like what to expect and what to bring. Thank you very much for such a great stay!
