The 24-hr medical service onsite is so helpful and well-run. Dr Thomas was incredible. He took his time to assess our child’s condition, explained everything thoroughly, really partnered with us on the treatment plan, and answered all of our questions. His English is impeccable so that truly made us feel comfortable. Thank you Doctor and to the wonderful nurses working with him!

For such a tough and painful experience the doctor and nurse have cared for my fiancee with incredible care and extraordinary compassion. We just did a check in with the doctor after days he was still compassionate.. no that is hard to find We with he was our MD back in Canada. This hospital need more customer service. I arrive to have some image done and take a turn. Unfortunately due to my condition I had to use the resrtroom. 10 ‘minutes later I step to the counter to pay for my image and the lady tells me she’s done that the done that the doctor said to close payement procedure. Keep in mind it’s 11 am and the image closes at noon and there’s no one else waiting. Guess they needed a break sooner. Peoples illness are not as important I guess. Very bad service from the image department

Dr.Carlos attended to me on Feb. 2nd and 3rd at Casa Marina Beach resort after a fall. Excellent, compassionate care, above and beyond. We were not impressed with the hospital in Puerta Plata. Arrived by ambulance, put in room for 5 hours without seeing anyone. Signed myself out and although were told we would have an ambulance back to the resort, we ended up having to get our own cab. Dr. Carlos saw us again that evening and made arrangements for medication and our flight home. We are impressed with his care and concern. He was on duty and available 24 hours for us. Thank you Dr. Carlos Calcagno. After seeing my family Dr. In Canada, he has confirmed a hematoma on my left buttocks and thigh. Joyce Souliere
