we wanted a base for 2 nights upon arrival before checking in to all inclusive hotels. this apartment meets our requirements. we arrived late on the first day at about 9pm. the security guard helped us to get in to touch with the host who then messaged us via whatsapp the pin code to the key box. apartment is a good size 2-bedroom with well equipped kitchen amenities. it’s comfortable, clean with good bedding. wi-fi is a good speed. however no shower gel or soap is provided. but the host is helpful enough to drop us two bars of soap the next day. there is no restaurants or convenient stores within walking distance except for restaurants in hard rock hotel which is about 600m away. we dined and ordered pizza take away from the restaurant in the casino (around usd 22 per pizza after including service and tax). not cheap but good food. we did a full day tour to santo domingo with a pick up from the apartment. it will not be convenient if it’s a longer stay without a car. we didn’t use the pool (good size). we booked a taxi via uber to the other hotel upon checking out. it’s easy. taxi arrived within 3 minutes. a good short stay.

The condo itself was nice. But, there is no beach access unless you want to pay $35 per person to go to the beach club. The food at the beach club is 2 star at best. The power and water went out late one night and the noise from the Hard Rock generator (or something) sounded like a jet engine at 2:45am. There is no where to walk except on the road with traffic flying by at highway speeds. The most dangerous thing you can be at this place is a pedestrian. If you walk on the cart paths of the golf course, you get yelled at. Oh. Don’t forget the non-stop construction noise. There was banging, whizzing, and whirring noises coming from all directions just about every day, all day Not sure why anyone would buy here. I will certainly never stay here again. I have never been so happy for a vacation to end.

Used this Air BNB for a pre and post stay at Hard Rock. The location was great for us but…We had no hot water on our first stay and a week later in the same apartment still no hot water after I reported it. The feeling I get from this is once you have my money you don’t care. The bed was very uncomfortable as it has an apex in the middle of the mattress. My biggest issue was having to take cold showers. The day after our second checkout they said they were working on the hot water. That should have happened after the first stay.

Absolutely loved it! Stayed in an airbnb. The host and the guide were simply amazing. Beautiful properly. Lovley pool and I was able to get picked up at the Hard Rock for all my excursions. Hard Rock was a 10 minute walk.

Not recommended through airbnb..for unit H306..no information for anything..had to taxi for 20-30minutes to get anything..water, food, everything. The host supplied nothing..not even salt! Was very difficult to contact host. Took 2 days to get response for WiFi code! Very disappointed
