This was the best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel anywhere. This is my second time back in 6 months. The staff always goes above and beyond and is incredibly attentive. The rooms are perfect, showers hot and delicious, always so freaking clean. I love the pool view we always get, it’s my favorite. The breakfasts are more beautiful than any other I’ve ever had in the states. America would never. Could never. I’ve never seen so many options and live the fresh fruit and fruit juices every single day. Obsessed with the oatmeal bar too. They have my hot water ready before I can even ask for it after day one. THEY REMEMBER YOU. The coffee is served when we sit, and the staff is bustling from table to table making sure you have what you need from omelettes to refills. Ruth in dining is my favorite person here. She is so attentive and friendly. Even remembered us from months prior. We love seeing familiar faces like hers here that brighten our day and make us feel at home. THANK YOU RUTH WE LOVE YOU!!! We came here for dental work and the place we went to didn’t fully confirm our reservation but the amazing woman at the front (her name starts with a N) worked hard to get us a room, on a fully booked weekend mind you. She SAVED us and worked with the dental company to make sure it was all taken care of. Sorry for the long line we made and thank you for being so kind, compassionate, and graceful. The pool is our favorite holy crapoli! Get a drink before you get out and they will come and check up on your for refills! EASY! the pool is safe and relaxing with everyone just loving the sunshine and the beautiful grounds they keep pristine all around it. The lounge/dining area is always the perfect temperature and always buzzing with people eating, doing business, relaxing, or waiting to head to their next destination. We spent our last 3 hours down there in comfort and had lunch. It was fabulous. The location is a 1 minute walk to a great shopping plaza with amazing restaurants, clothing stores, spas, a large food store for water/fruit/snacks/skincare whatever you need. If you go down past the IKEA also in the plaza and around to the left there is a gorgeoussssss jungle park with sculptures, shade, animal life, and places to relax or play. Was so so cool! All we have to say is THIS is where we want to be when we think of Punta Cana. Great prices for a great location and great experience. Thank you so much!

Do not trust the pictures. Came here for one night to try some restaurants nearby. Room was bad. There was some smell to the room. Dark. Pool was cold. Feels like a factory other than the lobby area. Overgrown grass everywhere. Do not recommend.

I had a decent stay overall, but there were a few issues that really disappointed me. As I was getting into the shower this morning, I noticed a roach crawling on the bathroom floor. I recorded a video because it made me uncomfortable — especially considering I paid good money to stay here. Everything else in the room was fine, but seeing that made the room feel unclean. Also, when I arrived and went to the bar, no one greeted me. I sat there for about 5 minutes before the bartender finally came out, and even then there was no acknowledgment at first. Another challenge was that no one spoke English, which made communication difficult throughout my stay. The hotel has potential and some things were good, but cleanliness and customer service definitely needs improvement.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel, let alone from a 4 star hotel. Where to start. Our room when we arrived smelled of cigarettes. They changed our room for us that night but to a worse room without a view. And one that had workers in the window the following day at 9am, scaring my wife having a shower. Then the breakfast was not what we expected. Below average and with little selection. Over ripened fruit on display. Not what you would expect for a hotel boasting ‘all inclusive’ status. Furthermore at breakfast you basically have to beg to get any service whatsoever. The service in general between the wait staff, cleaning staff and the front desk was quite frustrating. One time my card did not work for the gym. I had to go up and down 4 times to the third floor to have it fixed only for it to still not work to which they replied ‘I don’t know why it’s not working’ with no resolution. They typically cleaned the room at about 7pm?? We were getting ready for dinner one day when they showed up and we asked them to come back later and they never came. We had to ask them to clean our room the next day. The pool is the only saving grace of the place. It is nice though there’s no bar unless you want to go inside and no service to the bed. Also, you are downtown, not near the beach though a short 10m drive. Theres no scenery downtown but it is close to the airport. Great for business or airport staff. All this to say, these things don’t really bother me but when you charge $2000 for 4 nights, I expect a bit higher level of service and dedication, especially for a Marriott hotel. We will not be back.

Very new and modern hotel located in the heart of punta cana downtown. We uber to the beach close by and enjoy the resorts using 1 day pass. and come back here because of the modern facilities. Service front desk is great in service but feels like they lack a bit of knowledge when asked to recommend places around here. overall great stay here and would recommend anyone to come here.
